Carrying out studies to assess the environmental effects of the Parsian Petrochemical Complex project, including:
A methanol production unit
A methanol to olefin production unit (MTO)
Three downstream polymer units including a heavy polyethylene unit (HDPE)
One unit of polypropylene (PP)
A unit of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM)
Parsian Petrochemical Complex will be built for the final production of 350,000 tons of polypropylene and 250,000 tons of Semgin polyethylene per year, and finally 50,000 tons of ethylene propylene monomer product per year. In this study, the prediction of air pollution in residential areas was done using AERMOD software.
